Stephen Kalyn joins cast of ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’
Stephen Kalyn, known for his role in the Prime Video series ‘Off Campus’, has joined the cast of ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’. Lionsgate announced that Kalyn will play Brock Cunningham, a lawyer who enters a relationship with Millie Calloway, the character played by Sydney Sweeney.
The film is a direct sequel to the 2025 thriller ‘The Housemaid’, which was a significant box office success, earning between $300 million and $400 million globally. Based on the second book in Freida McFadden’s trilogy, the plot follows Millie as she takes a new housekeeping job for the wealthy Garrick family, only to encounter dark secrets behind a locked door.
Paul Feig returns to direct the sequel, with Rebecca Sonnenshine writing the screenplay. The ensemble cast includes returning actors Sydney Sweeney and Michele Morrone, alongside new additions Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Snow, and Paul Anthony Kelly. Production is expected to begin in 2026, with a scheduled theatrical release on December 17, 2027.
