Prime Video announced an eight‑episode adaptation of King’s novel “Carrie,” with showrunner Mike Flanagan at the helm. The series will star Summer Howell as the telekinetic teen Carrie White and Samantha Sloyan as her mother, Margaret. Each episode after the premiere will open with a distinct story of another woman confronting her own powers, expanding the narrative beyond the original high‑school bullying premise.
