Stephen Wall serves as Fulbright Specialist in Australia

Stephen Wall, a member of the American Indian College Fund Faculty Advisory Council and a longtime educator at the Institute of American Indian Arts, served as a Fulbright Specialist in Sydney, Australia. Wall, who is of White Earth Minnesota Chippewa and Cattaraugus Seneca descent, spent one month working with an Aboriginal Registered Training Organization (RTO).

Wall focused his expertise on Indigenous public administration and governance. During his time with Tranby, one of the oldest independent Aboriginal-controlled organizations, he provided cultural education, lectures on Indigenous knowledge, and training on governance models. His work included analyzing governing documents for a collaboration between Tranby and another Aboriginal RTO, as well as facilitating conflict resolution and participating in traditional yarning sessions.
