Sterling Holiday Resorts expands wilderness portfolio in India
Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited (SHRL) is expanding its wilderness travel portfolio with the opening of two new locations in India.
In Rajasthan, the company has launched Sterling Leopard Haven Jawai near Bera. The resort is situated in a granite terrain known for leopard sightings and offers 19 accommodations, including cottages, suites, and villas. The location aims to provide a nature-focused alternative to the region's traditional heritage tourism.
In Maharashtra, SHRL has opened Sterling Vanyatara Tadoba in the Chimur region. This new site provides access to five safari gates of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. The expansion is part of a strategic effort to position wilderness travel as a distinct leisure category, focusing on the diverse landscapes, ecologies, and regional cultures of India's forests rather than just wildlife sightings.
