Prime Video renews ‘Sterling Point’ for second season

Prime Video has officially renewed the young adult drama series ‘Sterling Point’ for a second season. The announcement comes shortly after the eight-episode first season debuted on August 5, following its success as a top global performer for the platform and its 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Created, directed, and executive produced by Megan Park, the series follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin) as she moves from New York to a Canadian island in Muskoka after inheriting it from her estranged grandfather. The plot explores family secrets, new friendships, and romance.

Executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire, along with Tom Ackerley and Dani Gorin of LuckyChap, expressed excitement about returning to the Muskoka setting. The second season will continue to explore the characters and the mysteries established in the first season.
