Stern Ristorante in Paris hosts Venice Film Festival-inspired menu
To coincide with the 83rd Venice Film Festival, the Paris-based Stern Ristorante is hosting a special ephemeral menu inspired by iconic films set in Venice. Chefs Massimiliano Alajmo and Alessandro Fornaro have designed a culinary experience that translates cinematic scenes and emotions into specific dishes.
The menu features three distinct offerings: a spaghetti dish with coffee emulsion, chard, and Cantabrian anchovies inspired by David Lean’s ‘Summertime’ (1955); a red wine risotto with sausage, beans, and red onion sorbet inspired by the 1978 film ‘Dove vai in vacanza?’; and a tuna egg dish paying homage to Silvio Soldini’s ‘Pane e tulipani’ (2000). The event runs from September 1 to September 12, 2026, at the restaurant located in the Passage des Panoramas.
