Swiss rider Steve Guerdat, aboard Easy Star de Talma, captured the Derby at the Jumping International de Dinard, posting a 14‑second lead over the Mexican competitor and repeating his victory from La Baule two months earlier. The event featured fifteen starters, including the first rider to compete on two horses in the same derby.

In the Grand Prix 3* Grand Hôtel Barrière, American Kristen Vanderveen rode Bull Run's Jireh to a decisive win, finishing ahead of French riders Cédric Hurel on Fantasio Floreval and Cédric Angot on Gandor du Fief. The competition saw a large crowd at the Val Porée arena, with sixteen couples completing a fault‑free first round and twelve repeating the feat in the jump‑off.
