Steve Higgins to perform in South Florida

Jamaican tenor and entertainer Steve Higgins will open the 2026–2027 season at the Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center with his concert, ‘Moonlight, Memories & Music’. The event is scheduled for September 5 at 8 p.m. in Davie, Florida, on the Nova Southeastern University campus.

Higgins will be accompanied by vocalists Dahlia Wynter and April Marr. The performance is expected to feature a diverse repertoire, including jazz, Broadway, musical theater, romantic ballads, Italian classics, and Jamaican music inspired by Harry Belafonte. The show will also incorporate storytelling, humor, and audience interaction.

A former member of the Jamaican Folk Singers, Higgins has over 25 years of international performing experience. He is also the founder of the South Florida Caribbean Chorale.
