Steve Jobs' 1968 science project sells for $34,375 at auction

As part of the ‘Steve Jobs & the Computer Revolution: The Apple 50th Anniversary Auction’, an eighth-grade science fair project created by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs sold for $34,375. The 1968 project, titled ‘What is the SCR?’, focused on Silicon-Controlled Rectifiers and included two demonstration circuits, explanatory panels, and a 10-page report.

The item was part of the personal collection of John Chovanec, Steve Jobs’ stepbrother, and had been stored at the Los Altos family home for decades.

Other notable items in the auction included an Apple-1 computer, which sold for $499,400, and a signed Apple business card that fetched $156,700. An Apple II computer, which Jobs had previously given to his father, sold for $12,079.
