By analyzing a database of college football data from the last 10 years, Makinen identified specific trends. One notable finding in FBS vs. FBS games from Week 5 onwards shows that when home favorites are favored by 25 points or more, the ‘Over’ on the total has hit at a 61.6% rate since 2020.
