Steven Bergwijn scores hat-trick in Al-Ittihad victory

Steven Bergwijn scored a hat-trick to lead Al-Ittihad to a 3-2 victory against Al-Hazem in the third round of the Saudi Pro League. The match, held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, saw Al-Hazem take an early lead through Abdulaziz Suleiman Al-Dhowaihi in the 18th minute.

Bergwijn responded by equalizing in the 34th minute and scoring a second from a penalty in the 41st minute. Although Al-Hazem equalized again in the 59th minute via Sofiane Bendebka, Bergwijn secured the win with his third goal from a penalty in the 81st minute.

With this win, Al-Ittihad moves to seven points and sits at the top of the league standings, while Al-Hazem remains at three points in tenth place. This performance marks Bergwijn's first hat-trick in the league since joining from Ajax.
