Steven Borden injured during AEW All Out 2026 event

Steven Borden suffered an injury during the AEW All Out 2026 pay-per-view event following a failed mid-air collision with Kevin Knight. While specific medical updates and a return timeline have not been released, backstage accounts from a WWE veteran have provided perspective on the incident.

Eric Bischoff has criticized the circumstances leading to the injury, suggesting that Borden lacks the necessary experience for such high-risk maneuvers on television. Speaking on his podcast, Bischoff questioned why veteran wrestlers did not intervene to prevent the spot, stating, “He’s [Steve Borden] green, he should never [have done that spot].” Bischoff argued that Borden needs more repetitions and confidence to ensure the safety of himself and his opponents before competing in major televised roles.
