Steven Caulker seeks new coaching role after Konyaspor departure

Former English international footballer Steven Caulker has shared his difficulties in finding a new coaching role following his departure from Konyaspor. Caulker, who served as an assistant coach under İlhan Palut, resigned from his position on September 10.

In a post on LinkedIn, the 34-year-old expressed frustration over the lack of responses to his applications, noting that he has not even received interview invitations despite meeting all necessary qualifications. He emphasized that he is prioritizing opportunities that align with his career goals rather than simply accepting any available position.

Caulker, whose career in Turkey includes stints with Alanyaspor and Fenerbahçe, drew a comparison to Walt Disney to illustrate how rejection is a common part of many professional journeys. He stated that he is maintaining a routine, including morning exercise, to stay calm and composed during the job search process.
