Steven Nzonzi signs for USL Dunkerque in Ligue 2

World Cup 2018 champion Steven Nzonzi, a 37‑year‑old midfielder with 20 caps for France, has joined USL Dunkerque on a free transfer after leaving Stoke City. The French international will play in Ligue 2 for the remainder of the season.

Nzonzi previously featured for clubs such as Sevilla, Roma, Galatasaray, Al‑Rayyan and Al‑Ettifaq, and has earlier Ligue 2 experience with Amiens in 2008‑09. His arrival adds veteran depth to Dunkerque’s midfield ahead of the campaign’s second half.
