Steven Spielberg's 'Disclosure Day' Film Set for June 2026 Release

Universal Pictures will release Steven Spielberg’s new sci‑fi thrillerDisclosure Day in June 2026. The film, starring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo, follows a cybersecurity whistleblower who uncovers long‑suppressed evidence of alien encounters. An advance screening will be held in Denver on June 8, ahead of the nationwide theatrical opening slated for June 11‑12.

In a recent interview, Spielberg said he now believes the circumstantial evidence of unidentified anomalous phenomena is “overwhelming” and expressed a willingness to change his mind about extraterrestrial life. The movie, described by the director as “more reflective of the world as it is evolving,” draws on his long‑standing fascination with UFOs and was inspired by the 2023 House subcommittee hearing on UAPs.
