Steven Uden imprisoned after admitting to raping partner Adelle Overton

Adelle Overton has come forward to share her experience of sexual assault by her partner of 13 years, Steven Uden. Overton, residing in Derby, England, stated that she previously viewed Uden as a caring partner who even became her caregiver following her disability.

Uden admitted to the police that he raped Overton while she was asleep and under the influence of medication. Overton described the revelation as a profound sense of betrayal, noting that she had felt safe with him throughout their long-term relationship and while she underwent breast cancer treatment.

Uden is currently in prison. Overton has decided to speak publicly about the incident in the hope of helping others who may be in similar situations.
