Stevie Nicks tributes Dolly Parton following her death

Stevie Nicks has paid tribute to the late country music icon Dolly Parton following Parton's death from cancer at age 80. Nicks described a week spent recording the duet “What Has Rock And Roll Ever Done For You” for Parton's “Rockstar” album as the “best week ever.”

Nicks characterized the time spent in Nashville as a “masterclass,” noting that she attempted to learn as much as possible from Parton. In a social media post, Nicks shared a poem dedicated to the singer, expressing how much the music community will miss her.

In addition to these tributes, Nicks recently appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to perform her 1983 single “Stand Back.” The performance preceded her scheduled appearance at the Daisy Chain Fields event in Irvine, California.
