Stewart's Shops wins nine awards at World Dairy Expo

Stewart's Shops has received nine awards at the 2026 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest. Competing against more than 1,200 entries, the company secured two first-place honors: the Stewart's Chocolate Dairy Shake in the open class flavored milk category and the Mango Dragon Fruit Sherbet in the sherbet category.

Additional accolades for Stewart's include second-place finishes for French Vanilla Ice Cream, Regular Chocolate Ice Cream, and Raspberry Fudge Torte Frozen Yogurt. The company also earned third-place awards for Bark in the Dark Chocolate Ice Cream, Mint Cookie Crumble Mint Ice Cream, Adirondack Bear Paw in the Open Class with Nuts, and Mousse Trail in the Open Class Ice Cream.

In Wappingers Falls, Kevin McCurdy's Haunted Mansion is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Founded in 1976 by illusionist Kevin McCurdy, the attraction has expanded from an indoor venue into a large outdoor experience. The 50th-anniversary season features a storyline involving demons and the Spirit of Halloween. The location's cultural impact was highlighted in June 2026 when the film 'Caity', shot on-site, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
