STG Global selects Hino 700 Series for specialised truck fleet

STG Global, an Australian manufacturer of specialised truck bodies, has selected the Hino 700 Series as its preferred heavy-duty truck partner. The partnership will see STG Global supply custom bodies—including vacuum trucks, water carts, tilt trays, and garbage trucks—on Hino bases for industries such as construction, mining, waste management, and infrastructure.

STG Global CEO James Agius noted that the decision was influenced by Hino’s Euro 6 emissions-compliant range and the support provided by Hino Australia’s dealership network. He also highlighted a strategic connection via STG Global’s parent company, Kyokuto Kaihatsu Kogyo, which maintains a long-standing global relationship with Hino.

Richard Emery, President and CEO of Hino Australia, expressed optimism regarding the partnership, citing growth opportunities in the specialised truck solutions sector and the upcoming impact of the new Hino 12-speed automated manual transmission.
