Stichting IJssellandschap and KonnecteD sign ten-year lease for Erf Nieuw Veldhuis

Stichting IJssellandschap and development company KonnecteD have signed a ten-year lease agreement for Erf Nieuw Veldhuis in Diepenveen. Additionally, KonnecteD and Scouting Steyn have signed a lease for a new scouting building.

The long-term agreement provides security for all parties to invest in the future of the site. The location includes the Het Nieuwe Veld nursery, a certified organic nursery that provides sheltered employment and reintegration opportunities for individuals.

Judith Snepvangers, director of IJssellandschap, stated that the partnership ensures the social function of the site is maintained. The foundation intends to further develop the farm and buildings into a residential area where living, working, and social activities are integrated. KonnecteD is also collaborating with the municipality of Deventer on these initiatives.
