South West Peninsula League: Sticker and Callington secure dominant victories

In the South West Peninsula League Premier West division, Sticker continues to dominate the table following a 5-0 victory over Wendron United. Evan Tresidder led the charge with four goals, extending Sticker’s winning streak to five matches across all competitions.

Callington Town also secured a significant win, defeating Camelford 4-0 at Ginsters Marsh. Callington established a commanding lead before half-time with goals from Dan Alford, Harvey Barrett, and Connor Pritchard. Following this result, Camelford manager Bobby Hopkinson called for his players to ‘step up’ and improve their mentality after successive losses.

Meanwhile, AFC St Austell maintained an unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 win against Helston Athletic, secured by a late penalty from Callum McGhee.
