Stieg Larsson ranks among best crime novelists since 2000
The New York Times has released a prestigious list of the 50 best crime novels published since the year 2000. The selection was compiled based on input from authors, librarians, book influencers, and critics.
Swedish author Stieg Larsson achieved significant recognition with his novel ‘Män som hatar kvinnor’ (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), which ranked fourth on the top ten list. The book is the first installment of the iconic Millennium trilogy.
The top of the list includes ‘Gone Girl’ by Gillian Flynn in first place, followed by ‘Red Rain’ by Dennis Lehane in second, and ‘In the Woods’ by Tana French in third.
