Stifel Charity Classic kicks off Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs

The Stifel Charity Classic is scheduled to take place from October 23 to 26, 2026, at the Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. The tournament features a $2.3 million purse and serves as the first event in the three-tournament Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs.

Following the conclusion of the regular season, the top 72 players in the Charles Schwab Cup standings will advance to this event. The field will then be narrowed to the top 54 players for the Simmons Bank Championship in Little Rock, eventually leading to the final 36 players competing for the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix.

Notable competitors include Alex Cejka, who enters the event following recent top-three finishes, and Bernhard Langer. Defending champion Thomas Bjørn is also expected to compete. The tournament will be played over four rounds on a par 72 course.
