Stiftung Warentest evaluates whipping cream quality

Stiftung Warentest conducted a quality assessment of 22 whipping cream products, including classic, lactose-free, vegan, and buttermilk-based varieties. While most products received a ‘good’ rating, only three were rated as ‘very good’ in terms of taste.

The top overall winner was Schwarzwaldmilch’s ‘Schlagsahne aus frischer Weidemilch’, which earned a total grade of ‘gut (1,7)’. The testing included products with the EU organic seal and addressed a high per capita consumption of cream products in Germany.
