Stiftung Warentest identifies top-rated budget cat food

Stiftung Warentest has released results from a study of 22 dry cat food products, identifying three items that received the highest rating of ‘very good’.

The clear winner is the Attica Knuspermenü Crunchy Mix with Beef from Netto Marken-Discount, which earned a score of 1.3. The product was praised for its nutritional quality and feeding recommendations, despite minor deductions for packaging usability.

Other top-rated products include Fressnapf Real Nature Wilderness Ranger's Forest Adult and Sanabelle Adult with Ostrich. The test highlights that high-quality pet nutrition can be achieved at a low cost, with the Netto winner costing approximately seven cents per daily ration.
