Stigliano hosts Cinemadamare international film festival

The municipality of Stigliano will host the final Lucanian stage of Cinemadamare, an international traveling film festival, until August 30. Now in its twenty-fourth edition, the event is recognized as a major international gathering for young filmmakers.

Directed by journalist Franco Rina, the festival aims to transform the village into an international film set and creative laboratory. Local officials, including Mayor Francesco Micucci and Regional Health Councilor Cosimo Latronico, presented the initiative, which seeks to use culture as a tool for community regeneration and territorial valorization.
