Sting and Savatage headline major Italian summer concerts in Bassano and Pompeii

Sting will close the 2026 Bassano Music Park on Friday, 31 July, performing at the Parco Ragazzi del ’99 in Bassano del Grappa. Organisers expect more than 8,000 attendees and report that only a few tickets remain available, indicating a near‑sell‑out. The show is part of Sting’s world tour and will feature his longtime collaborators Dominic Miller (guitar) and Chris Maas (drums).

The American metal band Savatage is scheduled to play on 27 July at the Roman Amphitheatre in Pompeii as part of its Prelude to Madness Tour. The concert follows a highly successful show in Milan and features a full orchestra under the direction of Vincenzo Sorrentino. Despite the absence of founding member Jon Oliva, the performance includes classic tracks such as “Jesus Saves” and “Power of the Night.”
