Stingray expands automotive audio reach via Harman and Ford deals
Streaming media company Stingray has expanded its audio service distribution through new partnerships with automotive technology and manufacturing leaders.
Through an agreement with Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, the Stingray Music+ application will be available via the Ready Link Marketplace. This allows automakers to integrate the service’s catalog of over 100 curated music channels, 150,000 radio stations, and 4 million podcasts directly into vehicle infotainment systems.
Additionally, Stingray-owned TuneIn has secured an OEM deal with Ford Motor Co. The TuneIn app will be integrated into select 2024 and 2025 models of Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition, Lincoln Aviator, Lincoln Navigator, and Lincoln Nautilus vehicles sold in the United States and Canada. The integration provides drivers access to live streaming from various global radio stations and curated audio content.
