Stipe Miočić supports Tom Aspinall's decision to vacate UFC title

MMA fighter Stipe Miočić has expressed support for Tom Aspinall's decision to vacate the UFC heavyweight championship to prioritize his health following a serious eye injury. Aspinall relinquished the title in mid-September after complications from an eye injury sustained during a fight against Ciryl Gane in Abu Dhabi prevented him from receiving medical clearance to compete.

Miočić, who has experienced similar eye injuries during his own career, praised Aspinall for prioritizing long-term well-being over professional status. In an interview with Athlon Sports, Miočić advised the British heavyweight to distance himself from the reactions of UFC leadership, suggesting that the organization focuses primarily on financial gain.
