Stiv Naumov student dormitory opens in Skopje

The ‘Stiv Naumov’ student dormitory has officially opened in Skopje, providing modern living and study conditions for 1,150 students. Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski attended the opening ceremony alongside Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska.

Mickoski stated that the facility offers European-standard conditions, which he described as among the best in the region. He noted that the government is working to resolve thousands of inherited problems by prioritizing the delivery of key projects and correcting past errors.

The project was supported by partners including the European Union and the German Development Bank (KfW). The Prime Minister also announced that a second student dormitory is expected to be operational by the end of the month, which will increase total capacity to over 1,500 beds.
