Stjepan Lukšić's 100‑km Brač swim garners community support

Swimmer Stjepan Lukšić is undertaking a ten‑day, 100‑kilometre ultramarathon around the island of Brač. The effort aims to raise funds for the cancer‑support organisation More snage Brač, with donations directed to the account IBAN HR98 2360 0001 5036 6835 6.

Local authorities have organised supportive events. Supetar mayor Ivana Marković, the city council president and county representative Arsen Bauk climbed Vidova Gora to meet Lukšić and encourage the swimmer. In the harbour of Bol, residents gathered for a special welcome, while Ranko Dragičević coordinated the climb and promoted the fundraiser. On the fourth day, swimmer Toni Pavičić‑Donkić joined the race, adding further visibility.

The combined community actions – mountain climbs, harbour receptions and public appeals – emphasize solidarity with cancer patients and their families on Brač, turning a demanding athletic challenge into a widespread charitable campaign.
