Stjepan Nakić buys Supernova centre in Grude, Bosnia
Entrepreneur Stjepan Nakić from Širokobrijež has acquired the Supernova shopping centre in Grude, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the country's first and only retail park operating under the Austrian Supernova brand. The deal also includes several adjacent construction parcels, though the transaction value and detailed investment plans have not been disclosed.
The centre, opened at the end of 2024, was originally developed by Viro BH as a project of Zagreb‑based KF Partners and later branded and managed by the Supernova Group. It sits on roughly 47,000 sqm of land, with the mall, parking and access roads covering about 15,000 sqm, while the remaining area was earmarked for potential residential and commercial use. Current tenants include a large Namex supermarket, as well as stores such as dm, Pepco, JYSK and Sinsay, alongside hospitality and entertainment facilities. The Supernova brand is expected to remain in place until the existing licence expires, but future ownership plans remain unclear.
