Ståle Solbakken discusses family life and temperament

Norway national team manager Ståle Solbakken has opened up about his family life and personal relationships in a recent episode of the NRK program ‘A-laget’. Solbakken discussed the strong temperaments shared by himself and his daughter, Ida, noting that while arguments are rare, they can be intense enough that other family members step aside when they occur.

Ida Solbakken, who is currently studying to be a midwife in Copenhagen, confirmed that she and her father share both a strong temperament and a stubborn nature. She noted that while they had more frequent disagreements during her teenage years, they currently maintain a very close and positive relationship.

Solbakken also touched upon his life as a father, mentioning his son Markus, a professional footballer, and the family's experiences living in Copenhagen.
