STMicroelectronics to propose Jean-Marc Chery reappointment as CEO

STMicroelectronics has announced that its Supervisory Board will propose the reappointment of Jean-Marc Chery as President and Chief Executive Officer for an additional one-year term. Chery has accepted the proposal.

The reappointment, which also includes his role as Chairman of the Managing Board, is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s 2027 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The board cited the need for strategic continuity, execution discipline, and the momentum achieved under Chery’s leadership as primary reasons for the decision.
