Sto zvířat performs ska and reggae concert in Sázava
The Czech ska and reggae band Sto zvířat performed a concert in Sázava on August 8, 2026. The group played well-known tracks from their extensive history, including "Novgorod," "Dáma s čápem," and the legendary "Škola."
Formed in 1990, the band became a prominent representative of the ska genre in the Czech Republic, incorporating elements of reggae, rocksteady, and swing with distinctive brass instrumentation. Following the sudden death of frontman, songwriter, and percussionist Jan Kalina in August 2023, the band's future was uncertain. However, the members decided to continue their work, a decision supported by the release of the album "Noční ptáci" and positive fan reception at subsequent live performances.
