Stoa secures investment from 212 to expand AI hardware marketplace
Stoa, a US-based platform specializing in physical artificial intelligence hardware, has received investment from the Turkish venture capital firm 212. While the financial details of the funding round were not disclosed, the capital is intended to enhance Stoa’s product offerings, expand engineering and data teams, grow its buyer and supplier network, and increase international market access.
Founded by Berat Çelik, Eren Berke Sağlam, and Kaan Yiğit, the San Francisco-based startup is part of the Y Combinator Summer 2026 program. Stoa operates two primary products: Stoa Markets and Stoa Intelligence. Stoa Markets serves as a centralized spot marketplace that connects buyers with verified suppliers, coordinating the entire trade process including inspection, shipping, insurance, and financing.
Stoa Intelligence provides price indices and valuation data to help organizations track the market value of their hardware assets. The platform prices hardware based on criteria such as model, configuration, condition, and age. CEO Berat Çelik stated that the company aims to build an exchange infrastructure for physical AI hardware, starting with GPUs, to help manage the price risks associated with these assets.
