Stock Car Pro Series hosts historic endurance race in Brasília

The Stock Car Pro Series is hosting a historic racing weekend at the Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasília, featuring its first-ever endurance format race. The event includes the 'Corrida do Milhão', where the winning duo earns a R$ 1 million prize.

In qualifying for the endurance race, the duo of Gabriel Casagrande and Gabriel Robe secured pole position with a combined time of 3min50s954. Other notable performers in qualifying included Felipe Massa and Caio Collet, who took second place.

The grid features high-profile names, including former Formula 1 drivers such as Rubens Barrichello, who is competing alongside his son Fernando Barrichello, and Ricardo Zonta, who is partnered with Antonella Bassani. Other international talents include Felipe Drugovich, Lucas Di Grassi, and Felipe Nasr.

The endurance race is structured as a two-hour event plus one lap, requiring three mandatory pit stops for driver changes and refueling. Each driver must spend at least 40 minutes on the track.
