Stock market activity in Sarajevo and Zagreb shows mixed weekly results
The Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) reported a weekly turnover of 894,724.06 KM for the period of August 10–14. During this time, 45 transactions involving 9,741 securities were completed. Several indices saw growth: the SASX-10 rose by 0.56% to 1,534.95 points, the SASX-30 increased by 0.44% to 3,112.81 points, and the SASX-BBI Islamic index grew by 1.29% to 14,571.60 points. On the free market (ST2), Privredna banka Sarajevo saw the highest turnover at 749,966.15 KM.
On the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Crobex indices experienced slight declines last week due to reduced turnover during the summer holiday period. The Crobex index fell by 0.1% to 4,426 points, while the Crobex10 dropped by 0.47% to 2,854 points. Regular turnover approached 8 million euros, approximately 2.2 million euros less than the previous week. Notable activity included Končar, which saw significant turnover in both regular and block trading. While Tehnika and Jadroagent were among the largest losers, Ciak Grupa saw a significant price increase of 68.42%.
