Stocznia Gryfia to invest 240 million PLN in new floating dock

Morska Stocznia Remontowa Gryfia is undergoing a major modernization effort, highlighted by a 240 million PLN investment in a new floating dock. Expected to arrive in July 2027, the dock will have a 24,000-ton capacity, enabling the shipyard to service Panamax-class vessels and other large commercial ships, passenger ferries, and multi-purpose units.

The project is part of a broader restructuring program managed by the majority shareholder, Fundusz Rozwoju Spółek (FRS). To prepare for the new infrastructure, the shipyard has already revitalized the waterfront and increased dock depth. The investment aims to improve profitability and long-term competitiveness by allowing the company to secure higher-margin contracts for larger vessels.
