Greek Basketball League announces 2026/27 season schedule

ESAKE has announced the full schedule for the 2026/27 Stoiximan Greek Basketball League (GBL) season. The championship is set to begin on the weekend of October 3-4, 2026.

Key matchups and derby dates have been highlighted, including the first ‘eternal derby’ between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, scheduled for January 3, 2027. The second derby of the season will take place on March 28, 2027. Other major scheduled games include matchups involving PAOK, AEK, and Aris.

Panathinaikos will play several early games at the Telekom Center, though it is noted the venue will be empty for certain matches due to penalties. The regular season is expected to conclude by mid-April 2027.
