Stojanco Radicevski calls for unity in Brvenica election
Stojanco Radicevski, the VMRO-DPMNE candidate for mayor of Brvenica, has called for unity among all citizens ahead of the second round of local elections. During a final campaign rally, Radicevski emphasized that the municipality belongs to all residents, regardless of their ethnic, religious, or political affiliations, including Macedonians, Albanians, and Turks.
Radicevski identified several key challenges facing the municipality, including water supply, local roads, winter maintenance, school conditions, and opportunities for young people. He stated that development should not be divided by ethnicity and that the municipality requires dialogue, mutual respect, and shared responsibility.
In the first round of voting, Radicevski received 2,945 votes (38.90 percent), while his opponent, Arkin Jahiji of DUI, received 2,152 votes (28.45 percent). The runoff election is scheduled for Sunday, November 1.
