Stolen car crashes through jewelry store in Eibergen

A stolen white Kia Sportage was driven through the storefront of Woudenberg Juweliers in Eibergen on Monday morning around 05:15. The vehicle came to a stop in the middle of the shop, causing significant damage to the facade and interior.

Police reported that multiple perpetrators were involved in the ram-raid. While the total value of stolen goods remains unknown, the incident drew crowds of onlookers to the Brink street throughout the morning. Residents living in the apartments above the shop reported hearing the impact, though one neighbor noted the sound was not loud enough to cause immediate alarm, mistaking it for a falling vase.
