Stolen Chevrolet S10 recovered after high-speed chase in Paraná

A stolen Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, originally taken from Silvânia, was recovered following a high-speed chase and collision in Paraná. The vehicle, which belongs to a service provider for Equatorial Energia, was reported stolen in Silvânia after being left unattended with the keys in the bed of the truck.

Following the theft, a 22-year-old suspect fled authorities by driving against traffic on the BR-277 highway toward Cascavel. During a tactical pursuit by the Rotam unit, the suspect lost control of the vehicle and crashed within the urban perimeter of Cascavel.

Upon apprehending the suspect, police discovered a large cache of items used for police impersonation and criminal activity. Seized items included a 9mm pistol with 90 rounds of ammunition, a GPS signal blocker, a tracker, a siren, flashing lights (giroflex), a duty belt with a holster, four ballistic vests, cloned license plates, and two Civil Police t-shirts. The suspect has been taken to the Cascavel Civil Police Station.
