Stone Brewing features Polish-style Grodziskie in Homebrew Summer program

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station has released ‘The Smilinskie’, a Polish-style Grodziskie beer. The smoked session beer is based on a recipe from local homebrewer Matthew Smiley and was selected as part of the brewery’s Homebrew Summer program.

Kris Ketcham, Senior Manager of Brewing & Innovation at Liberty Station, noted that the selection allows professional brewers to experiment with styles outside their standard operating procedures. The Grodziskie is a low-alcohol beer that utilizes smoked malt, a style Ketcham noted is rare to find locally.
