Stonehill College defeats Northeastern men's soccer 1-0

The Northeastern men’s soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat against Stonehill College on August 23. Despite controlling much of the first half with six shots to Stonehill’s three, Northeastern was unable to score.

Stonehill secured the victory with a goal scored in the final three seconds of the first half. Freshman forward Killian Doherty converted a lobbed pass from midfielder Griffith Brubaker to find the back of the net. Stonehill goalkeeper Felix van der Hagen recorded seven saves throughout the match to maintain the shutout. Northeastern's next match is scheduled against Boston University on August 28.
