StoneX Group expands commodity presence via coffee acquisition and cotton derivatives
StoneX Group Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Integra Trading S.A.S., a coffee trader, exporter, and bean processor based in Colombia. The acquisition, conducted through StoneX’s Swiss-based entity, will integrate Integra’s operations into the StoneX Supply & Trading physical commodities business. Integra operates a certified processing mill near Medellín and holds various sustainability and quality certifications, including Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade. The move is intended to expand StoneX’s direct origination and processing footprint in the Colombian coffee market.
Separately, StoneX Markets LLC has entered an exclusive licensing agreement with Cotlook to launch a new suite of over-the-counter (OTC) cotton derivatives. The first product, the Cotlook Brazil Basis Swap, is designed to help market participants manage risk by referencing Cotlook’s international cotton pricing benchmarks. This launch follows a shift in global trade where Brazil has become the world’s largest cotton exporter, increasing the demand for tools to hedge price exposure and basis risk within the international supply chain.
