Storhamar defeats KAC 2-1 in Champions Hockey League

Klagenfurter AC (KAC) suffered its second defeat in three Champions Hockey League (CHL) matches, losing 1-2 to the Norwegian champions Storhamar. The match took place in Hamar before 3,483 spectators.

Storhamar took an early lead in the seventh minute through Isac Skedung, followed by a second goal from Stian K. Nystuen in the 34th minute. KAC managed to reduce the deficit in the 45th minute when Raphael Herburger scored on a rebound into an empty net. Despite strong saves from goalkeeper Florian Vorauer, KAC was unable to secure an equalizer.

Following this result, KAC sits in 18th place out of 24 teams in the CHL standings. Only the top 16 teams will advance to the playoffs after six matches.
