Polish municipalities issue heat, fire and thunderstorm warnings

Local authorities in three Polish municipalities have issued weather-related alerts.

The Chmielnik administration warned of rising temperatures, forecasting daytime highs of 30 °C to 33 °C, with peaks up to 34 °C.

The Rymanów office issued a fire‑danger notice, urging residents to take precautionary measures.

Zakliczyn’s municipal office released a thunderstorm warning for 1 July, predicting heavy rainfall of 35 mm to 55 mm, wind gusts up to 100 km/h (locally 115 km/h) and possible hail, with the most intense conditions expected late afternoon and evening.
