Vodacom Bulls and DHL Stormers secure major URC victories

In the third round of the United Rugby Championship (URC), South African teams saw significant shifts in the standings. The Vodacom Bulls delivered a dominant 57-15 victory over the Lions, scoring nine tries to move into third place with 11 points. Meanwhile, the DHL Stormers secured a 39-22 bonus-point win against the Hollywoodbets Sharks in Cape Town, also climbing to fourth place with 11 points.

The Sharks' defeat ended their unbeaten start to the season, and the loss was marked by a concerning knee injury to Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth, who was forced to leave the field before halftime.

At the top of the overall table, Edinburgh Rugby remains the sole leader with 14 points, followed by the Glasgow Warriors with 13. Other notable results included Dragons RFC defeating Ospreys 28-26 and Munster Rugby securing a 26-19 away win against Ulster Rugby.
