The DHL Stormers and Hollywoodbets Sharks are set to face each other in a highly anticipated United Rugby Championship coastal derby at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday, 10 October. The match marks a significant clash between two top-performing South African franchises.

The Sharks enter the fixture at the top of the URC standings following consecutive victories over the Ospreys and Leinster. Coach JP Pietersen has announced a strong starting lineup that includes three Springbok players to bolster the squad's experience.

The Stormers aim to rebound from a recent defeat against Edinburgh by fielding a reinforced squad featuring 11 Springboks, including captain Siya Kolisi, Damian Willemse, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, and Cobus Reinach. Additionally, the Stormers have brought in aerial specialist Steven Morris to assist with lineout and high-ball defense.

Stormers fans will also see the debut of highly-rated 21-year-old scrumhalf Haashim Pead, who will start on the bench. The match is expected to be a high-intensity encounter as both teams vie for playoff positioning and regional dominance.
